According to a joint news statement from Commonwealth’s Attorney Amy Ashworth and Police Chief Lugo on Thursday afternoon.
“The child [Neema] is safe and being cared for by an appropriate caregiver approved by the Department of Social Services and the Manassas Park Police Department.
”Mamta’s close friend and former flatmate, Navarro, expressed her worries and stated,
“The baby’s okay. We’re working very hard to make sure she doesn’t have to stay there overnight, but that looks like it might happen.”
