Even her Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager is surprised by Hoda Kotb‘s plans for her first Halloween celebration in the suburbs.
Hoda Kotb’s conversation with Jenna Bush Hager about Halloween celebration
The two discussed the impending holiday on the morning broadcast on October 18. Bush Hager revealed that she intended to make a matching costume with her 5-year-old son Hal, but “it’s not happening so I need to change my costume and I don’t know what that is.” The two initially discussed how their families were not supporting their costume plans.
Hope, Kotb’s 5-year-old daughter, was originally going to be a pumpkin with her but has since changed her mind, so she finds herself in a similar situation.
Bush Hager was shocked to see the former city resident putting so much effort into the suburbs when she went into depth about her holiday plans.
According to Hoda Kotb, her new town has a ton of kid-friendly events, such as parades, and extravagant lawn decorations. She has even gone so far as to organize her own Halloween party, outlining a pumpkin carving party she will be throwing for her neighborhood.
“You’re hosting a party and inviting guests to carve pumpkins?” Bush Hager inquired. The party will take place on a Wednesday, Kotb added.
