While Kelsea Ballerini has recorded albums before, this is the first time she has done so while dating actor Chase Stokes of the Outer Banks and Uglies!

The 31-year-old country music artist told how Stokes, 32, encouraged her forthcoming fifth album, Patterns, during the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at the Paradise Club in New York City on Tuesday, October 8.
After slipping into Stokes’ direct messages and “just swan dove proper on in” in December 2022, Ballerini began dating him in early 2023.
She went on, “I’m really proud of the art that he’s inspired.” Additionally, I’m quite happy to be in the company of a truth-teller in his own right. It’s quite lovely to be in such alignment and to freely and voluntarily disclose that kind of material and certain aspects of our relationship.
Previous to this, Ballerini revealed to Chase Stokes how the actor calmed her down before her recent acting debut in the upcoming ABC medical drama Doctor Odyssey.
I’ve always said that acting is his world, so I was always like, ‘What about this in your world?’ when I was questioning him about this chance. And he said, “Hey, this is just the world.” Now since you’re a part of it, so am I. It isn’t my reality,” she reminisced. I was like, ‘Okay, so you’ll run the scene with me?’ by the conclusion of the conversation. And he replied, “Yes, let’s get started.”
Dibs, one of the couple’s two dogs, had a health scare recently. Dibs was diagnosed with “inoperable cancer in his heart,”Ballerini revealed in August. Dibs has had Ballerini as his dog mom for over nine years; in 2020, Chase Stokes adopted Milo.
On October 25, Ballerini’s new album Patterns will be available.
